Roasted Romanesco With Sage

Romanesco definitely wins as the most beautiful recipe in my opinion. The gorgeous and mesmerizing Fibonacci sequence might distract you while you prepare this dish but don’t worry, once it is in the oven it will roast to perfection.

Ingredients

1 head of Romanesco chopped use code TRAILTOHEALTH for 50% off your first box
3 tablespoons avocado oil or coconut oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder 
1 teaspoon onion powder 
1 teaspoon white sage powder 
1 teaspoon sumac powder 
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons fresh sage chopped 


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment

2. Combine  oil with garlic, onion, white sage, sumac and salt and coat romanesco.

3. Place on parchment lined baking sheet and roast for 20-25 min, checking it and flipping it over around 12 min in.

4. Remove the Romanesco from the oven and let it cool slightly 

5. Transfer to a serving dish and top with fresh sage
